Over the past decade, he has refined his cultivation and processing methods, elevating quality while prioritizing sustainability and community resilience. His microlot coffees consistently stand out for their clarity, balance, and complexity, reflecting both the richness of the land and his unwavering commitment to excellence.
What sets Moises apart is not only his talent but also his leadership. As a young producer, he has become a role model for his peers, mentoring other farmers in regenerative practices, quality control, and the importance of direct trade relationships. Moises is also a passionate advocate for preserving Colombia’s coffee heritage while embracing innovation. His work represents the future of specialty coffee: thoughtful, traceable, and grounded in human connection. Ureida del Socorro García is a passionate third-generation coffee producer from Roldanillo, Valle del Cauca, Colombia. Working at an altitude of approximately 1,650 meters, she cultivates exceptional Castillo beans through artisanal methods rooted in love and discipline. After retiring from her career as a teacher, Ureida returned to her family farm to honor her parents’ legacy and bring new life to the land they once tended. Guided by her motto “poquito, pero de calidad” (“a little, but of quality”), she produces coffee that embodies precision, patience, and purpose. Her story reflects Colombia’s deep coffee heritage and the strength of its women growers—transforming tradition into innovation and inspiring future generations to see farming as a path of pride and opportunity.
